Green Ginger Tea

Want to zap those cold and flu bugs AND boost your immunity ?  Try this healing ginger lemon green tea!  For just pennies the green tea has polyphenols which work as  antoxidants to keep your cells in tip top shape.  With 2 cups of green tea providing the same antioxidant punch as one serving of fruits or veggies a great option if you’ve missed your salad today.   The lemon keeps your ph alkaline which wards off cold & flu virus’s while the ginger adds even more antioxidants,  antimicrobials and tummy soothers!

  • 1.5 cup (375 mL) water
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) loose green tea leaves
  • 2 tbsp (30 ml) thinly sliced ginger root
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) honey

 Bring water to boil and remove from heat.

Add tea leaves and ginger to enerjive infuser; pour water over, close lid and steep for 8-10 minutes.

Add honey to tea cup or mug; pour in ginger tea infusion, stir, sip & enjoy…repeat as desired!
